Thank you so much for a very well organized IFC 2011. I have been coming to the IFC for many years and was on the organizing committee for the IFC in Chicago. This one in Hyderabad is one of the best so far. The papers were very informative and the Exhibition was very interesting. The dinner parties and shows gave us a good opportunity to experience the culture of India. You have set a very high standard to achieve for future IFC meetings.

I got to meet many of the friends I have developed over the years from other IFC=92s and from the Asia Forge meetings.

Mr. Deven Doshi, Mr. Babu Rao, Mr. Vidyashankar Krishnan and the rest of the Committee Members are to be commended for a great job of organizing this congress.

Thank you very much and I hope I get to see everyone again in the not too distant future.

All people of Euroforge I have been talking with, were very satisfied with the Congress and the visits.

You have put the level of the IFC at a very high level, we hope to be able to perform on the next 2014 IFC in Berlin, it will not be easy.

How can you arrange a congress with more than 1000 participants in this brilliant way, and then assume correctly that one single guy from Germany would not have enough time to get some herbs for his wife at home?

I will have my severe difficulties to take revenge. I may send you my thanks and a big hug, and I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Subject: 20th International Forging Congress - IFC 2011

Dear Vidyashankerji,

The IFC 2011 conference and the post conference tour (Pune) were well organ= ized. The foreign delegates had all praises for the Indian hospitality. The= only criticism I heard was for the Pune traffic which extended travel time= to the companies and made us late for our appointments. IFC member compani= es were also very generous with their time and support, and very open in di= scussing forging related issues. Please thank the Oganizing Committee membe= rs and the hosting companies on my behalf. Please also than Muralishankar a= nd his team tireless efforts in keeping the technical program seamlessly pr= ogressing. I will email my forging friends personally as soon as I recover = from jet lag.

Look forward to visiting you and your company on my next trip to India.

Dear Shankar,

being back in Germany I would like to thank you for your hospitality and tremendous organization of the IFC 2011 in Hyderabad. The conference was on a very high technical level due to your excellent choice of papers to be presented. Also the program at night with a marvelous inaugural evening, the dinner during which I had the chance to be at the table with you and your wife on Monday and finally the closing diner were high lights of this international meeting and gave us an idea about the rich history and culture of your country.

I will remember very gratefully India as a perfect welcoming host and it will be a challenge to achieve such a successfull IFC 2014 in Berlin.

Subject: IFC International Forging Conference

Dear Shankar,
Dear Deven,
Although some time has passed, I would still like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for organizing such a wonderful event.

We participate in a lot of forging conferences all over the world but never experienced such a beautiful event.

Not only the fact, that the organization was perfect but specifically the warm and friendly attitude of the Indian hosts was inexperienced so far and made this event so very special.

We heard from so many participants all over the world that they really loved being a part of that.

I know that all this must have cost a lot of time and effort. Being a part of the forging community I personally would like to thank you for having done that.

The bad news is that now Germany has to keep up with such a benchmark for the organization of the next IFC and this will give us a really hard time.

Hopefully, we can achieve something similar like you did.

Once again, thank you very much for making something like this happen.
