Starting with Birla Mandir, the beautifully sculpted white marble temple of Lord Balaji right in the heart of the city, the tour winds its way to Qutub Shahi Tombs the last resting place of the Qutub Shahi Dynasty, then to Golkonda Fort built in 13th century is the original home to the Kohinoor Diamond, Salarjung Museum the largest single collection of priceless antiques in the world and treasure house of history, The Nehru Zoological Park, India’s largest Zoo spread over 300 acres and host to over 1500 species of birds and animals, The Charminar the Icon of Hyderabad, Mecca Masjid the second largest mosque in India and Seventh largest in the world.

Salarjung Museum closed on Friday and Zoo closed on Monday and back to the conference venue.

Golkonda is one of the famous forts of India. Founded originally by the Kakatiyas in the 13th Centurary, the existing structure was expanded by the Qutub Shahi Kings into a massive granite structure with walls and ramparts extending some 7 Km in circumference. Warangal located in the Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh is at a distance of about 150 km from Hyderabad. Capital of the erstwhile Kakatiyas Dynasty in the 12th century, Warangal was also known as Orugallu and Ekasilanagaram. The city known for its beautiful lakes, ancient temples, and forts, features in the travel dairies of Marco Polo. The marvelous Thousand Pillar Temple built by RudraDeva in 1163 A.D. which is located Hanmkonda. This star-shaped shrine is dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Surya and has beautifully carved pillars. The rock-hewn elephants and the Nandi are worth seeing. It was built in the 12th century by the Kakatiyas kings. Warangal also has an ancient Temple called Rammappa Temple.

Tour-06: Nagarjunasagar Tour

	Located at a distance of 150 kms from Hyderabad, Nagarjunasagar is an important irrigation dam on river Krishna. This is the tallest and biggest masonry dam in the world. It creates the third largest man-made lake in the world. Apart from this, some remains of the Buddhist civilization dating back to the 3rd century A.D, are seen on an island called Nagarjunakonda located in a man-made lake on the other side of the river Krishna. These relics of Buddhist civilization found during excavation unveiled the traces of Mahachaitya, the most sacred of the stupas. An inscription in Brahmi characters states that the sacred relics of Lord Buddha lie within the Mahachaitya. Places covered, Nagarjunasagar Dam, Nagarjunakonda Museum, Right canal, and Ethipothal Waterfalls.
